Another “sold out” bowling pin shoot brought several new shooters along with our oldie goldies! These folks sure made for a fun night. Because of the nature of “pin action”, some of our shooters won their matches as they were able to find “the pocket”. From past shoots, Carol, Pops, and Paul have a real knack for this. Some historically great match-ups were alive and well again Wednesday night! Brother/Sister duel – Andy and Kathryn had some big wins until they met each other, hah. The oldest match-up and the one we all have come to expect is Pops and Paul! They are both league shooters, our long-time customers, and great friends. Paul has won a few more times than Pops but not this time. Noteworthy: It wasn’t looking good for Pops after the seeding as he drew our top league shooter, Vince but Pops was not to be stopped until he met James. We had to talk Jim, another newbie, into shooting as he was here only to watch but with some great shooting of his own he made it into the Final Four.
Carol has probably had more top finishes than anyone in the history of our competitions. This one came down to the wire as Carol and James went head-to-head in a best 2 out of 3 battle. It was still tied after 2 rounds but James was able to bring the trophy home on round 3 with some terrific shooting. Congratulations James; if I’m not mistaken this was his first bowling pin shoot.
Thanks to all of you that came out to support us. Our next Bowling Pin Shoot is Wed Feb 27th at 6p.
