Congratulations to all of our league shooters. We are grateful for all the fun, camaraderie, jokes, competitive shooting, the not-so-competitive but personal growth that we had while we were together.
Jonathan finished in first place and Vince took 2nd by 1 point. We only had ONE perfect 2-Target score with a perfect 25 on the X-count and that was by our third place finisher, Jeff!!
Happy Birthday, number 92, to Roy. His kind smile and encouragement are an inspiration to everyone in the league. And we imagine to everyone else he meets. Roy said his goal is to be around for the next league, starting in January. Also to shoot well enough to stay in the top ten ranking.
Everyone was cheering each other on in the evening league or they may have wanted everyone to hurry so they could get to the party and Pop’s sausage balls. Jane said she would be spending some time in Tennessee between now and January. Paul said he was going to spend a little time arranging and going through the sports cards which have been sitting for more than 20 years in his closet. Fred is going to keep working on moving up in the league rankings with some practice. Keith also is planning on practice, maybe next year he can beat his dad Dennis? Jonathon is looking for new material to keep heckling Vince, if you have any make sure to get it to him. And Will is going to try and catch up on his sleep.
Remember between now and the next league; if you are in ProShots and you see someone you don’t know, go over and introduce yourself and invite your new friend to come and shoot in the league. It has been fun getting to know all the new folks shooting this league, and by growing the league you can help keep it going, and meet more good people.
