For Kids

Safety is everyone’s responsibility.  It is a parent’s responsibility to ensure that all firearms are stored safely.  Not only is that common sense — in North Carolina, it’s the law.

But what happens when your kids go to someone else’s house and they are shown a gun? Or what happens if someone brings a gun to school?  Or what happens if they find a gun out in the woods behind your house?

Unfortunately, we know that these are real life scenarios that happen far too often.

At ProShots we believe that knowledge is power. We also believe that it is better for kids to learn from trained adults than from untrained peers.

We offer group sessions for children 12 and older, beginning with the NRA’s award-winning Eddie Eagle safety program. We also offer family sessions for families with kids of varying ages. We can provide one-on-one training for children who function better in individual settings.

Safety is our number one priority at ProShots.  And when it comes to kids and firearms, sometimes what you don’t know can hurt you.
